Our story

A kitchen built on memory and fire

Saffron & Stone began in a home kitchen in Amritsar and found its home in Hertfordshire in 2019. Chef Priya Sharma trained under masters of tandoor and dum cooking before opening a dining room where every dish tells a story — of region, of season, of family.

We source locally where we can, import spices we cannot compromise on, and cook with the patience that good food demands. No shortcuts. No fusion for fusion's sake. Just honest, beautiful Indian food.

“Food should feel like coming home — even if home is halfway across the world.”
